Industry+ Exhibition, Maison et Objet
An exhibition stand design commissioned by industry+ for the September edition of Maison&Objet in Paris. The exhibition stand focuses on a collection of new chairs designed by Jun Yasumoto, Keiji Takeuchi and Studio Juju.
Instead of the standard painted MDF construction, we were looking for alternative material and construction. Paper honeycomb panels came to mind, for having strength, being light weight, and cost effective. The paper honeycomb panels were cut to size before delivery, which were then assembled easily onsite. The exposed sections of the honeycomb panels framed up the displays, giving an unique character to the stand, otherwise a painted MDF construction may not possess.
